The ReliaDose Lifesaver

O

ur poor Aeris has been so fussy lately in the evenings before bed and I have been at a loss to figure out why. Well, yesterday she gave me one of her big toothless grins and I noticed that she is cutting teeth like crazy--not just one, but six teeth at once!! She really needed a good nights sleep for once.

I decided I was going to dose her before bed with some baby Tylenol. She is not the best at giving medication, so I was dreading this whole ordeal. A few weeks back, I received a free sample in the mail of this new device called the ReliaDose. What essentially is, is a baby bottle with a syringe that is fed down the middle of the bottle with your medicine in it, so the milk or whatever liquid you put in, masks the taste of the medicine being fed through. I was really skeptical about this product because you can't fool any of my kids when it comes to medicine.

I have tried hiding medicine in formula before, and it NEVER worked--and the pills in the applesauce--BIG FAILURE. Anyway, I tried this gadget, and IT WORKED. Aeris was not even aware that she was being given medicine and off to dreamy land she went. It must be really hard to cut so many teeth at once!
